Cooper

Dear Cooper families,

Over the past week we have been very busy birds making our class nest. This project has stemmed from our very strong interests in nests after reading the story “The Best Nest”. We have been researching what types of materials birds use to make their nests and looking at the different birds that we can find around our ELC. We went for numerous walks around the school to collect a range of materials for our nest such as leaves, sticks, grass and flowers. The children have been busy threading all of our natural materials onto our nest and it is looking fantastic.

What a great way to end term 1! The children were buzzing with excitement for our Easter hat parade and Easter egg hunt. Well done to the families that went all out for the festivities. The hats looked great!

Miss Gilbert will not be in the Cooper room during the holiday period. If you need to contact her, please do so by email. Mr Richards will be in the Cooper room running the Autumn program alongside Miss Kendall.

We hope that you have a fun and safe Easter break.

Love Miss Gilbert and Mr Richards
