Mattingley

Dear Mattingley families and friends,

On Monday in Chinese the children had so much fun cooking dumplings with Miss Wenting. We discussed what a dumpling is and how we eat them. The children each had a turn using the tongs to pick up a dumpling and placing it gently into a pot of cold water all ready for Miss Wenting to cook them.

A shell – Sarina
We eat the chicken inside the dumpling – Kaeshav
Put them in the water – Dylan
We cooked the dumpling in the hot water – Phoebe

Our Mattingley friends really enjoyed this cooking experience. They waited so patiently for the dumplings to cook and couldn’t wait to eat them at morning tea time.

We would also like to say thankyou to all our grandparents for coming into the ELC on Tuesday morning and spending time with their grandchildren in the classroom and watching them perform their songs. It was so wonderful to see all the grandparents and the children enjoying their morning together.

Have a great weekend.
