Wilkins

Dear Wilkins Families,

Thank you to all the Grandies that came to celebrate with us on Tuesday. The children proudly showed their Grandies around the centre and the classroom, engaging them in the range of experiences. We have so many new books to add to our ELC library, thanks to the generous donations of Grandies on the day. There are still a few books left in the foyer of the centre if anyone wishes to still make a donation.

The Wilkins class has been enjoying the beautiful Autumn sunshine this week, engaging in lots of outdoor experiences. We have been creative with painting and drawing outside, developed our literacy skills as we enjoy some books in the garden, explored cause and effect and motion through rolling hoops and tyres around the yard and developed our gross motor coordination using different balls. We seem to have some budding soccer and footy stars in our midst!

We have also begun talking about Easter this week, exploring different Easter objects and creating our bunny baskets. Thursday children, don’t forget about our Easter Bonnet Parade next week - feel free to be as creative as you like!

The holiday program will begin after Easter - if you haven’t already marked on the sheet on the door if you will be attending, can you please do so this week.

Best wishes for a lovely weekend.
