Mattingley

Dear Mattingley Families and Friends,

I hope you all had a lovely Easter.

Our Mattingley friends had a wonderful first term together making new friends and sharing their interests with each other.

In the first week of our holiday program the children have really enjoyed building with large wooden blocks, being creative, marble painting and looking through the coloured shapes at the light table. They have especially enjoyed this activity as they shared with their friends the names of the shapes and the colours they saw.

The Children have also thoroughly enjoyed popping bubbles from the bubble machine and watching the movie, Alvin and the Chipmunks – Road Chip.

They have also used imaginative role play and have been pretending to be firefighters in their fire truck.

The children had so much fun working together to put the fire out with their hoses and taking turns in driving the truck.

It was such a joy to see them enjoying themselves this week and we look forward to the second week of our school holiday program.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
