Mead

Dear Mead Families and friends,

Term 4 has finally come to an end! It is with such joy and excitement to have watched the children continue to grow throughout the year. Our first week of holidays has been jam packed with inside and outside experiences.

This is our first week off camping out with our blankets at rest time. The children are really enjoying their relaxation time and have responded well to not using beds for sleep.

We began the week with a big splash to cool us down from the heat. The children absolutely enjoyed participating in water experiences such as getting wet and jumping up and down in the rock fountain, building sand castles and mud cakes in the mud kitchen, running underneath the water hose and playing with sea creatures in the outside water trough.

The children assisted Miss Elodie in making some soft green play-doh, we are using lower-case letter stamps with the play-doh to further our letter recognition.

On Thursday we indulged in popcorn and video snippets from ABCKIDS. The children were thrilled when they each had a bowl of popcorn and their favourite kid shows. They asked if we were able to watch TV all the time but Miss Elodie said that it was a special occasion that tends to be a treat during the holidays.

A massive thank you to all parents for a lovely year! It has been a pleasure looking after your cherubs and looking for the year ahead in the Chapple room.
