Langley

Dear Langley families and friends,

We've had a special guest in our yard this week! On Monday, we spotted something on our sand toy cupboard - it was a praying mantis. Miss Georgia very carefully gave the children a closer look and put him in our tree. The next day, we were keen to check in on our new friend. We watched on as we observed him climbing on the branches. We decided to call him Neefo and the children have been very caring and respectful of his space. Some children noticed that Neefo looked similar to our stick insects as Grace said, "Like Alex."

Also this week we have enjoyed practicing our aiming and kicking skills with our soccer goals. Sebastian brought his ball from home and was very kind in sharing it and letting his friends have a kick. We've had master chefs at work in our outdoor kitchen, budding street artists drawing on pavements and some very wet water paly.

This week marks the end of term 4 - what an exciting, fun filled year we have had watching all our Langley friends learn and grow!

We said goodbye to Miss Amy who left us at the beginning of the week. We wish her all the best for her next learning adventure. Thank you for your time with us.

It was also Miss Sarah's last week in the Langley room so there were lots of hugs and cuddles to say goodbye.

Have a relaxing weekend

Sarah, Emily, Georgia, Amy and Jen
