Angwin

Dear Angwin families and friends,
Welcome to week one of the Summer holiday program and what an exciting start it has been! The children have been festive: Dressing in Christmas clothes, creating Christmas trees using cardboard tubes and loose parts, exploring Santa’s workshop and Oliver even transformed the doll’s house into a magical place for the wooden figures to feel extra joyful.
On Thursday, the elves and Santa disappeared and changed into Ninjas and what safe and happy Ninjas they were. After a discussion about Ninjas and a warm up, we watched a short Ninja clip where we practised our moves before a dual with Miss Bowden, unfortunately she didn’t win any! There was also a stealth mode exercise where the children were super quiet and had to try and creep up on each other too. We finished with another short exercise video before some yoga moves to stretch and relax our bodies.
We are looking forward to our final week together before Christmas with some water play and festive cooking.
Thank you to Joshua and his mum Michelle for our lovely handmade ELC PAC bunting! It is beautiful.
Love Miss Bowden, Ms Kendall and Miss Wenting
