Cooper

Dear Cooper families,

What a great week we have had to wrap up the end of term 4!

We have been finishing off our Christmas gifts for our families to give to them on Christmas Day. They look amazing and we were very proud of how they turned out.

During the week we have also been creating a whole class piece of art work based on the children’s thoughts and ideas around Christmas. The children chose the colours that they would like to use for their visual art piece and collaboratively created a beautiful painting, which we have displayed in the classroom. We have also used this image as part of our Christmas cards to our loved ones.

Our whole class rainbow has turned out amazingly! Thank you to all of the families that brought in coloured bits and pieces from home to add to the rainbow, it really gave the children ownership of the artwork and initiated many conversations between the children.

At the end of the year, sadly, we will be farewelling Mr Ty from the ELC. He has taken a position at another ELC that is much closer to his home and his family. He will be dearly missed from the Cooper room and our ELC. We wish him the best on his exciting new adventure.

I will not be in the classroom during the Summer holiday period. If you have any questions please speak to Mr Ty or Miss Melissa or you can email me on mgilbert@pac.edu.au as I will be checking my emails throughout the break.

We hope that you have a wonderful and safe Christmas and New year!

Lots of love,

Miss Gilbert and Mr Ty
