Wilkins

Dear Wilkins friends and families,

This week we have welcomed some beautiful hot and sunny days which lead to water play! Some Wilkins children ran, danced and giggled under the hose as we got the sand pit ready for castle and cooking creations and filled buckets to water the garden. We also took advantage of the sunny days to engage in some more water exploration. We experimented using different natural materials to see what sinks and floats and how may stones would fit in our toy boats before they sank. The children had a blast, please keep the spare clothes coming.

On Monday we had a very special visit from Jimmy's father, Mr Tom, who played us the guitar. He sang us some of the children's favourite songs including, Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Builder, The Wheels on the Bus and a few Wiggle's classics. This was great experience for the children as we are getting ready for our Christmas Nativity. We have all been practising our special songs and cannot wait to perform them to you on the 1st of December.

This week Miss Kim returned from her practical experience teaching Kindy and Reception students. She was very excited to get back and see all the smiling, happy, beautiful faces and receive lots of cuddles. She missed you all and is looking forward to seeing you if she hasn't already!

We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and we will see you in week 6,

Mrs Jess, Miss Renee, Miss Ellen, Miss Courtenay and Miss Kim
