Angwin

Dear Families,

The Angwin children have had some exciting experiences this week. We really enjoyed hearing all about Isaac’s family celebrations of Diwali last weekend. Together we made some rangoli pictures with coloured flour. We heard from Isaac that Diwali is the festival of light. He enjoyed swirling sparklers with his family too!

We have been exploring printing with some sensory play using shaving foam and coloured food dyes. Some of the children have enjoyed getting messy whilst others have not been so keen!

We have had more visits up to the Prep School, playing in the Rainbow playground, going to a JP Chapel and even had a story with one of the teachers.
All of the children have started having school visits and we are doing lots of talking about school and what we are looking forward to… Please send in a photo of your child in their school uniform as soon as you can, to add to Preparing for School project.

On Tuesday November 8th we want all our Tuesday children to bring a packed lunch from home in a lunchbox. We will be carrying them up to the Rainbow playground and eating them there with the mid year children in Preparation for next year. The ELC kitchen will not be providing our lunch on this day. This is a wonderful way for our children to talk with you about always food and nut free food, to go in their lunch box. Please don’t pack too much… a sandwich/ wrap, drink and piece of fruit will be plenty, otherwise they will spend all their time eating and run out of time to play!

Have a wonderful weekend!
Kind Regards,

Pip and Coral
