Wilkins

Dear friends and families,

Recently in the Wilkins class we have been very engaged in art and craft activities. To build on this interest Mrs Nicole brought in a large canvas for the children to share and work together collaboratively in creating a beautiful piece of art. During this experience it was wonderful to see the children supporting each other in terms of compliments, offering ideas and sharing resources. After the children started they were so engrossed in their creation that there was nothing but silence as they were concentrating so hard.

In Chinese this term we have been focusing on fruit. Miss Wenting sings songs with the children and has recently been reading 'The hungry pig', which is a tale about a pig that won't stop eating fruit until he is much too full. The children are very attentive during Chinese and have began to sing along with Miss Wenting and recall some words they have learnt when asked.

We hope you all have a great weekend and look forward to seeing you next week,

Mrs Jess, Mrs Nicole, Miss Georgia, Miss Ellen and Miss Kim

Winter warmers

During the winter months while it's not raining we will try to let the children have a play outside or in the workshop. Please make sure the children come along with enough warm clothes, including their school jumpers, thankyou .
