Cooper

Hi Cooper room families,
We have been busy making planets in the Cooper room this week. The children have created an array of different planets such as the moon, the sun, Earth, Jupiter and some planets I hadn’t heard of before, such as the Isla planet. We have displayed the children’s planets on the wall and written their dialogue underneath. If you have a chance, please come and have a look.
Zara - Lexie and I live on the Elsa planets. We don’t live on Earth anymore. There is shiny flowers on them.
Alexander  - Astronauts lives on the planet. You just go on a rocket first to get there. The astronauts go to get to you planet. It’s close to the moon.
Nicholas Y - These are the buttons. They are for going faster. Ryan lives on my planet. He gets there by rocket. He is strong. My planet has buttons and squares. It’s close to the sun, it’s hot!
A big thank you, to Sebastien  mum Lucie and sister Airlie, who came in today and helped the children make ribbon wands. The children loved choosing the different coloured ribbons for their wands and have been running around with them all afternoon. The children especially liked watching how the ribbons moved behind them as they ran.
Happy Birthday to Nyanwell who turned 4 years old on Thursday.
Remember it is a long weekend this weekend so the centre will be closed on Monday. We hope you have a lovely long weekend; hopefully it doesn’t rain too much!
