Angwin

Hi Angwin families and friends,

This week we welcomed Mrs. Cooper back. We are so happy to have her with us.

We have had a lot of dance and music in our class this week. On Monday we had our first session of Dancify. Our dance instructor Erin, led us through a dance which required us to do lots of spinning, shuffling and balancing. We are looking forward to next week's Dancify session and practicing our new moves.

As our show and tell theme was around our favourite song or dance move we heard a lot of different songs throughout the week and danced along to a few of them. On Thursday Wolf's dad kindly bought in his record player and some of his favourite 'old' records to play for us. Many of the children had never seen a record player before. He explained to us how a record player works and let the children hold a record to feel for the grooves on the surface. One of the records Wolf's dad bought in had Wolf's favourite song on it. This song was Space Oddity and we played it on the old record player. We also listened to some songs from artists like The Beatles and the children eagerly danced along to a couple of them. It was a great afternoon.

The children also enjoyed jumping around in the puddles after the downpour on Thursday. Can we please remind you to pack a spare pair of clothes so we can continue to enjoy our mud and puddle play.

Have a lovely weekend,

Cass, Coral and Pip
