Langley

Langley Families

This week the Langley children have shown a particular interest in letters. We have been hunting for squishy letters in our sensory tray and thinking of words that start with the same letter. Some friends have even been practicing writing letters and their names using their locker tags. This has been a great experience for children to begin to think about the relationship between letters and sounds and understand how symbols are a powerful means of communication in or world.

Also this week some of our Langley children had their transition visit to the Cooper room. The children had a great time exploring their new classroom, playing in the big yard and getting to know their new teachers Miss Gilbert and Mr Ty.

Miss Erin was in again this week helping us with our dance moves. We will be having a Dancify concert next Friday 1st July (9-10:30am - Langley and Wilkins will be performing 9-9:30am). Everyone is welcome to participate and attend if you would like to see what we have been learning, however if your child does not usually attend on Fridays they must be accompanied by an adult.

Stay warm this weekend
