Chapple

Chapple Families

This week we were lucky enough to have Peter the Policeman came into to talk to us about keeping safe.

We tried to remember some of his tips.

Banjo: Put on a helmet.

Addison: Put a life jacket on when on a boat.

Christopher: Put on a hat to protect you.

Tate: Call 000, but just in an emergency.

William: For fire trucks and the police.

Lucy: And ambulance.

He told us how we can identify a policeman and what to do if we get lost. He even let us go in the police car and turn the siren and lights on!

We have continued our inquiry into owls and we have made some lovely owls. We even used puppets to retell the story of the “Owl Babies”

The Chapple room picnic was a great success apparently, lots of happy children on the photos.

 Kind regards

Martin Charlwood
