Angwin

Dear Angwin friends and families,
This week our children have been talking about what writing means to them.
Denver: When you make letters
Seb: You can draw anything with writing
Kennedy: Drawing pictures and writing names
Romesh: Numbers and names
The children have been exploring their ideas of writing by producing their own books with Mrs Cooper, using Miss Bowden’s computer to type the names of people in their family and drawing in their special black journals.
This week has also seen some of our children start to turn five. A big happy birthday to Toby, Oliver and Matilda!
There was also a celebration for Billy this week as Liam and his family kindly brought in a new tank for him. We call it Billy’s playground as it is so big and has a swimming pool, a huge log and lots of stones to explore. Consequently, the children have been painting Billy on the easel and devising their own playgrounds for him too.
Have a lovely long weekend.
Love Mrs Cooper and Miss Bowden
