Wilkins

Dear Wilkins Families,

Firstly we would like to say thank you to all who have brought in family photos over the past few weeks. It has been lovely having discussions around our family tree and hearing about who is dearest to our little friends. We also hope you all enjoyed your long weekends!

This week in Wilkins we created our own sensory garden to care for. As many of you have seen, two or three weeks ago, Miss Georgia worked with the children to make their own wheat grass cups. We have enjoyed as a class watching them grow, and they have certainly created a fine little crop of Wheat grass! As an extension of this, the sensory garden was enjoyed by all! We helped each other and took turns digging, planting, watering, and smelling the scents of our floral plants and variety of herbs.

Lotti: "My mum and dad will be so impressed"
Grace- Marie: "We do gardening"
Stirling: "more water to water plants and dirt"
Samuel: "We have to plant it outside"
Anwen: "I like flowers"

Grandies Day
On Tuesday the 5th of April we look forward to Grandies Day. We are looking for two or three wonderful parent helpers from our Wilkins class to come and join us. If any one is interested we would love to have your support.  We will be sending out further information and invites next week.

Have a lovely weekend and we look forward to seeing you all next week,

From,
Mrs Jess, Mrs Nicole, Miss Georgia, Miss Ellen, and Miss Kim
