Angwin

Dear Parents and Friends,

We have enjoyed many and varied experiences in the Angwin Room this week. Many of our investigations are continuing and deepening as the children explore and discover more about their areas of interests… for example, we have had some continued learning into fish which has moved into stingrays and where in the ocean these creatures are found.

The children have created some amazing block models with the large blocks, created race tracks and roads with Harry’s pieces of wood, and have started building towers and models with white glue and smaller blocks of wood. We even have a seagull castle!

The children have enjoyed opportunities to experience Junior Primary Chapel in the Prep School, to jump in muddy puddles in our garden and to explore the new jungle garden in the ELC.

A big thank you to families for the way you are embracing our show and tell programme.

This week’s harmony questionnaires have been amazing to share and learn from each other. As a whole ELC we joined together to hold hands!! This was no mean feat! The children then shared a DVD from Antonio looking at “Peace and Harmony”. After all our discussions and these simple activities, they have really grasped what we are trying to explore together!

Next week we have lots of fun ways we will be exploring Easter!

Have a wonderful weekend,
Kind Regards,

Pip and Coral
