Langley

A big thank you to all the families who have brought in a family photo. Now that we have a few more children we have started to create their very own picture frames to display these pictures. We would love for all children to be included and have a photo of their loved ones in their school environment as they are a great comfort to them in times of distress and provide a sense of security. Again, feel free to email pictures to smarotti@staff.pac.edu.au and we will print them off.
On Tuesday, we introduced tadpoles to the class. We discussed how the tadpoles will grow and turn into frogs as we will care for them and feed them lettuce. Over the week, children have loved observing the tadpoles and seeing what they are doing.
Leo – “Snakes!”
Seb – “No, no, no they’re tadpoles”
William A – “More fishies…..lettuce”
On Friday we celebrated Harmony Day and talked about being a kind friend to others. We discussed how we could do this and joined hands with all the ELC children around the Town Square.
Isaac B – “Say sorry”
Larissa – “Dance, dance, dance”
Charliese – “Share”
We have introduced an"interestsandstrengths from home” board above the sign in folder. Please let us know if your child has a particular interest that we can foster and extend on at school by writing it on a post-it note and popping it on the board.
