Angwin

Dear Angwin Parents and Friends,

Following our recent interest in growth and how we change, this week we investigated our weight and height by measuring and comparing them in individual self surveys. Some children have brought in baby photos and we’ve also looked at how big Mrs Schmidt’s baby currently is. The children’s weight varied very little between 18 and 20 kgs and the children were intrigued by the baby weight being 1.5kgs this week.

Heights varied a lot more and we’ve started recording them on the wall in our classroom.

The children are really enjoying discussing their transition to school and we have celebrated several fifth birthdays, with a couple more to come!

This has also led to many chats about celebrations, with the Nativity, Graduation and moving to school all to celebrate in the coming weeks.

We can’t wait!
