Mattingley

Dear Mattingley families and friends,

This week we have continued our exploration into shadows by continuing to experiment with the light from the overhead projector in our castle. The children have begun to use different lego animals to make shadows and have been making up stories to tell each other. It has a been beautiful to see them being creative and working together to work out how the light works to help them make the shadows on the screen.

On Monday were had a lovely birthday party for our friend Lucille who turned 4 on the weekend. She had brought in some lovely fairy cupcakes which she shared with her friends.

"My Mummy has worked very hard to make all my yummy birthday cakes! She cooked them when I went to bed. I love birthdays!" -Lucille told her friends.

"They're awesome!" Jannav told Lucille when she handed him a cupcake.

"I love fairies!" Angelina

Just a quick reminder that the invitations for the Big Boys Breakfast have gone in your children's locker this week. If you haven't seen yours yet please check their locker and if it's not there please ask either Coral or myself for a new one. If we could please ask that you RSVP as soon as possible that would be fantastic. It is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to celebrate our Dads!

We hope you have a great weekend,

The Mattingley Team.
