Book Week

Connect to Reading Book Week 2014

This year we will celebrate Book Week in the ELC during Week 5 ( August 18th – 22nd). We are planning our own ELC Dress Up Day on Tuesday August 19th where the children and staff will come dressed as their favourite book character. We ask that families send the book along too! Please keep the costumes simple so the children can take off bits and still play comfortably!

Our Parade will be at 9:30am in the Town Square. The Prep Library will be hosting some special activities during Tuesday for us to enjoy.

On Thursday August 21st we will enjoy having some special visitors down to the ELC to do some storytelling with all the classes.

On Friday August 22nd, we will enjoy going up to the Prep Gym at 9am to watch the Prep School Book Week Parade.

We are looking forward to celebrating this special week where we really highlight the importance and fun of reading and sharing stories with each other.
