Mead Room

We have enjoyed our ongoing investigations into “Our Family Album” this week with lots of show and tell involving speaking in front of the group without a prop. It has shown us how much our children have developed in their oral language skills throughout the year.
Today we loved meeting with our Year One reading buddies to share stories in their classroom. We aim to get together once a fortnight to share stories and provide our little ones with positive reading role models. The older boys step up to the challenge and it gives them such a sense of accomplishment to share their Literacy skills with our younger children.
We shall be sending home more details of the parts we will play and costumes required for our Nativity performance in Week 6, another opportunity for the children to gain skills as performers up on the big stage.
Thank you for your ongoing support!
Warmest regards,

Emma, Pip, Sarah and Heidi
