Cooper Room

Dear Cooper Room Families,

Well the beautiful weather is certainly on its way now ! The children have enjoyed some lovely big play sessions outdoors towards the end of the week. Many children have been challenging themselves to try to ride the pedal bikes or walk on the stilt cups. Other children have been enjoying stopping for petrol and filling up their cars before they take off for another lap around the bike path. This afternoon a group of children created their own petrol pump using a large box. We will use this in our play next week – call in as we have the lowest prices in town!

In the Cooper Room we have been really testing our skills with some bubble painting. It certainly is harder than it looks to blow enough air through our straws to make the bubbles rise up out of the containers – sometimes we managed to get them so high we couldn’t see!
“Look at me , I am behind all the bubbles!” yelled Alex
“Ohh, ahh this is great we make lots of bubbles!” added Knox
“It tricky to blow the big bubbles.” said Ryan
“They tickle your nose and come up and up and up!” laughed Joe
“We can fill the room with bubbles, keep going everyone!”  Zander
The children have also been very keen to see if they can catch the bubbles so next week we will venture outside to make some bigger bubbles and test our catching skills!
Enjoy your sunny weekend!
