Edgerley Room

Dear Edgerley Families and Friends,
Don’t we all look fabulous after having our hair done at the Edgerley Hairdresser ! We are getting a lot of bookings, so please stop by and make your booking so you don’t miss out. We are especially good at making hair go frizzy and adding lots of elastics!  Mrs Nacca was the luckiest client of all as she had all the perks and discounts on all the services on offer !
We have loved our counting and we are all learning that after 29 comes 30, not 20-10! We have a 1 – 100 game of snakes and ladders in our room (you can call it 'Silkworms and Ladders if you're scared of snakes!)  and it’s proving to be a great hit. We are also mastering the game of giant dominoes and have found a million other uses for the dominoes too! Come in and see our creativity.
A highlight of the week was a visit from Mr Rocca! You may have heard your child talk about 'TEAM ROCC' at some point and this is because we are members of Team Rocc led by Mr. Rocca himself. We have been practicing being strong just like him in his Body Building Competition that he also uses to raise money for the Hudson-Maher Foundation helping very sick kids. We asked him lots of questions and he said that if you are in Team Rocc, you are good at listening to your mum and dad, you look after your body by eating healthy fruits and veggies and you make your body strong by playing outside and do exercise and only a little time for TV and ipad games. We got to see one of his best trophies, tried on his wrist straps that help you lift heavy weights and even get to feel his strong muscles. But the most important thing is 'It's not about winning- it's about giving it a try cause in Team Rocc, No retreat, No surrender!
We have been so busy writing letters to Father Christmas because the earlier, the better. We thought if we write letters now, the elves will have plenty of time to get our requests sorted. We will be practicing lots of writing and decorating and learning about addresses. Keep an eye on your letter boxes because there might be one just for you
.PS: Show and Tell next week is about a holiday that your family has enjoyed. You can bring in some photos or any rememberance item from this holiday. We are looking forward to hearing all about it. Thank you
Have a wonderful weekend with your families and friends and we look forward to sharing next week with you.
