Chapple Room

Hello Families and Friends,

This week the Chapple children have decided that we would write the blog together,
 ‘What’s the blog?’ asked William
‘The blog is something so that your mummy and daddy know what you want’ explained Jacob
‘A blog something when you go somewhere and your Mum and Dad print it out’ Abhi said
‘When your Mum and Daddy knows something’ offered Leonardo
‘So your mummy and daddy can know what you did, what you played with and if you had a good day’ added Abhi
‘A blog is something that you (teacher) write in to tell the mummy’s daddy’s, grandmas and great grandmas what you did and if you had a good day’ Jacob said

So what did we do this week?

‘We did PE, we played with bouncy balls’ Christian said
‘And we played tennis’  added Abhi
‘I liked the puzzles, it’s my favourite thing in the whole wide world.  I’m an expert at them.’  said Leonardo
‘Outside me Hugo, Raph and Leonardo were playing hide and seek and Marcus played a little bit’  Lucas explained
‘I was playing a game called “looking for diamonds” and if you find the most diamonds you win.  One day I found 2 diamonds’ Marcus G told us
‘I went on the playground, the outside playground’ Hugo said
‘Racing to the red park’ Markis exclaimed
‘And racing to the black score board’ Marcus G added
‘Markis Kallos’ mummy she looked at the things at the front of our tummies, our heart and she looked at and we got to look at the blood coming out of the heart’ Christian explained
‘We got to look at Miss Amelia’s baby’s brain’  said Abhi remembering that Miss Amelia luckily was at school on Wednesday visiting the Mead children.
‘It was kind of cool. Markis Kallos’ mummy looked at my kidneys.  She saw red and blue it’s the blood’ Asterios said
‘We really liked the hospital’ Amaia offered
‘We had to deliver cards to Mr. Andary’ James W said
‘We were like Post men!’ Asterios laughed
‘We went to the big school.  Mrs. O’Hara’ Seb Mac remembered
‘We had a big school visit , I liked that we had to go to the playground’ Oscar recalled

We did have a very busy week.  We’d like to thank Leah Kallos for coming in with her portable ultrasound and showing us our insides and Miss Amelia’s baby.  We are certain to be tennis pros with all our hard work during PE lessons.  Some of the children have a mean hit and we have to duck out the way of the tennis balls!!  Nativity practises are in full swing now as we gear up for our performance in week 6, don’t forget to bring in your costumes.  The basket is waiting on top of the lockers.  And our excitement to be big school boys and girls is definitely growing with each school visit.  Next week we will be going to Chapel with the Thursday Children, Chapel starts at 9am.  It is important that we are all at school by 8:45 on Thursday.  Miss Veltmeyer goes on her holiday to Fiji on Wednesday for 1 week and we will have Mrs. Nacca while she is away.  Bon voyage Miss Veltmeyer!  (lucky duck!)

One last note that we all agreed on:-

‘We love our mummies and daddies!’ said Lucas

Have a great weekend!
