Edgerley Room

Dear Edgerley Families and Friends,
A very special week as we learned about the really big storm in the Philippines. The children heard from Liam and Hugo who have family connections there and also from Mrs Rocca. We set about creating all manner of plans to help the people:
Seb: How about we get a basket and give it to them with all the things in.
Kristian: Give them some food from our lunchboxes
Oscar: Maybe we could put bricks on the side of the Philippines and on the other side to keep the water out
Oliver; They can go to the supermarket and then we can go to the Philippines and so we can go to the dying place and give them some flowers and food
Oscar: Maybe we should get some food out of the fridge and we can give some food to them.
Henry Yang immediately went home, gathered coins from his own money box and his parents wallets and brought it in. What a thoughtful young man! Please support the Edgerley children, Mrs Rocca and the people in the Philippines through the funds drive they have set up in the foyer.
Next week we look forward to more trophy making, super hero creating and Christmas craft… and of course… THE NATIVITY!
Enjoy working on your posters for Week 7 Show and Tell!
