We hope you had a lovely
long weekend spent with family and friends.
We are continuing to
look at our biodegradable science experiment in the Town Square and what would
happen to rubbish in our environment, if it was left outside. We have been
speaking about recycling and what items can and cannot be recycled. At morning
meeting, we have been discussing what we think will happen to the items in the
jars - will they stay the same, or break down?
We are still very
involved in our bones investigation and we have continued to create our own
hand x-rays, using cotton buds.
Millie: We have 5 fingers
Hamish: They’re our phalanges
(pointing to the skeletons hands)
Houyi: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5! 5 fingers
In the town square, we
have been making jewelry by threading small beads, straws and buttons onto
pipe cleaners. Everyone concentrated very hard to thread the items on and
create their own unique piece of jewelry.
Poppy: I'm making a bracelet
for my mum
Cody: I'm threading all the
blue straws on
Christian V: Look how long it
is!
Zahli: This is beautiful, isn't
it!
Have a wonderful
weekend!
Georgia and
Melissa
