Edgerley

Dear Parents,

For many of you this will be your last Edgerley Blog. It has been a week with mixed emotions. We have 12 of the Edgerley children moving to mid-year Reception classes and departing from the ELC at the end of the term. There is a heightened sense of excitement at the new adventure they are about to embark on, whilst feelings of loss, change and possibly a little nervousness are all at play.

We wish Caterina, Zara, Alexander, Sebastian, Archie, William L, Rory, Zali, Charlie O, Angus, Zachary and Henry all the very best of luck for next term as they begin their journey in school and welcome them all back for a 'hello' and cuddle for their old pining (!!) staff and friends at any time.

Along with transition visits, departures and graduations this week we also have two birthdays to celebrate. A very happy birthday to Rory and Henry who both turn 5 this week!

Term 2 concludes this Friday and the school holiday program will run for the next three weeks before Term 3 commences. Miss C will work in the holidays for the first 2 weeks in the Edgerley Room, however she will have the third week off before she commences back in the Cooper Room.

Miss Emma Gray and Miss Chelsea Wright will be working in the Edgerley Room in week 3 of the holidays in Miss C's absence. In Term 3 we will be welcoming Mr Chris Richards as the Edgerley co-educator. He will move with the new Cooper Room children who are joining Edgerley at the start of Term 3.

We wish you a wonderful holiday break if you are taking one and to those families who are departing we would like to thank you for your continued support. We will miss your little cherubs but realise they are ready to flourish with the new challenges school brings.

Warmest wishes,

Emma, Mel and Cris
