Hi Cooper families,
Our recycling mission has continued this week! We have counted all of the pieces of rubbish that we have recycled this week, and we are currently sitting at 25 leaves on our Recycling Tree. We are not sure that we will get to 100 by the end of term, but we are all very excited about the process of recycling our rubbish, which is what matters the most!
The Cooper room are still very
keen on the wildlife that inhabit our school environment. On Tuesday we went on
another bird walk. This time we recorded how many times we saw each type of
bird on our walk. We were lucky enough to see 6 Noisy Minors, 5 Rainbow
Lorikeets, 1 Rosella, 5 Magpies and 9 Pigeons. We finished our walk off at the
Preparatory School playground. We will adventure out into the “Big School” again next
week and record how many birds we see again. Fingers crossed it’s even more
than last week!
Next week will be our last week
altogether in the Cooper room before our Winter Program commences. We will be
celebrating in the classroom on Thursday afternoon at 2:30pm with some cupcakes
and nibbles. If it is not your child’s day you are welcome to attend and join
in the festivities.
We
hope that you have a lovely weekend.
Love Miss Gilbert and Mr Richards
