Wilkins

Dear Wilkins families and friends,

Welcome to 2018! What a wonderful first week of the year we have had.
We have enjoyed listening to our Wilkins friends stories about Christmas and their holidays!

On Monday, Liam noticed something on his way into the classroom with his dad. He noticed our tomato plants had turned into juicy red tomatoes ready to eat! Liam and his peers enjoyed picking the tomatoes and eating them.
Sophie - Yum!
Liam - Can me have more tomatoes?

On Thursday  “Mr Oopy” came to visit the ELC. He showed us some exciting ways to dance to songs and even let us sing with his microphone.  Mr Oopy had an array of tools to create the perfect enormous bubbles! What great fun this was.

In preparation for our big friends to move into the Mead room, Mrs Rocca has been coming in and sharing sometime throughout the day in the Wilkins room. She has been reading stories and sharing games with our friends. Over the next few weeks the children will be having visits in the Mead room to ensure they are comfortable with the transition.

Thank you for an enjoyable first week back.

Enjoy your weekend,
Ellen, Courtenay and Melissa
