Langley

Dear Langley Families and Friends,

Happy New Year!
Welcome back to the Langley Room! We are excited for another fun year!

We would like to extend a huge welcome to all our new friends who have begun their journey in the Langley room. We hope they have lots of fun and learn lots of new things!

This week despite the weather being warm, we have spent lots of time outside. As always one of our favourite activities is water play! This week we have loved splashing around with the whales, dolphins and other sea creatures.

You may have also noticed the beautiful big sunflowers in our garden! We did some amazing still life paintings using these for inspiration and displayed these on the wall in our classroom.

On Thursday we were lucky enough to have Mr Oopy come visit. We had so much fun dancing and singing along with Mr Oopy, but the best part of the show was chasing the huge bubbles around the town square.

Inside we have enjoyed playdough, the dolls and home corner, drawing and reading stories.

We have also introduced a new morning meeting chart into the classroom, which we have placed next to our couch. The children are given the opportunity to take turns to hang up the days of the week, month and weather onto the chart. The children have responded well to this.

We hope you enjoy your weekend!
