Langley

Dear Langley family and friends,

We hope you’ve been staying cool during this warm weather, we sure have! The children have enjoyed lots of water play in the water trough, sandpit and on Thursday and Friday the children wore their bathers to ELC and had a great time running around under the sprinkler!

To keep us entertained in the classroom Miss Nicole prepared an art experience using shaving cream and food dye to create a marble affect. After the children were done with this they had fun exploring the different texture of the shaving cream.

We are also caring for the spiny leaf insect from the Wilkins class! The children helped Miss Georgia collect some gum leaves from the tree in the big yard and place them in the tank for our new friend.

Next week the children that will be moving to the Mattingley classroom will be doing full day transitions with their new co-educator Miss Boler, this will begin each day from 9am.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend and stay cool in the hot weather,

Miss Georgia, Miss Nicole and Miss Chelsea
