Mattingley

Dear Mattingley families and friends,

This week the children have had their transition visits to the Angwin Room. They have settled in very well in their new environment as they engaged in different activities and met some new friends who will be joining us this year also.

The children used their imagination and created their own 'dinosaur land' using the wooden blocks, pine cones, rocks and stones. They all worked together and used their problem solving skills to build their creation.

Home corner play was a highlight this week as the children enjoyed role playing in the kitchen pretending to be chefs and cooking delicious meals for their friends and teachers. The felt boards were used to create imaginative stories and the children were very busy at the craft table being creative using boxes and different materials.

We look forward to the term starting next Monday.

Have a great weekend,
Liana and Kerry
