Mead

Hello Mead families and friends,

This week we welcomed everyone back from their holidays. It has been lovely sharing stories about holidays and filling in all of our Mead room friends with the amazing experiences that we participated in during the school holidays! We are looking forward to our final term for the year and all the excitement ahead of us.

We have resumed our Chinese, Library and P.E classes this week however we were unable to attend P.E this week due to the Primary school Sports Day.

The children have displayed great interest in manipulating & creating with our making table that consist of an array of materials for the children to use, please ensure you take your child’s amazing art work home with you as they are very proud of their creations!

What an exciting week it has been with the lead up to Sports Day. The morning started with Mr. Barton instructing us with stretches and a fun filled warm up. We were very fortunate that the weather was in our favor, what a beautiful day to be outside participating in running races, an obstacle course and the rainbow parachute.

The smiles on the children’s faces expressed displayed confidence and it was such a joy to see the children building on their relationships with peers and sharing happiness together. Physical activity for the children furthers their gross motor skills and improves balance and co-ordination.

A massive thank you to all parents, families and friends that came to support their children and very kindly helped with the smooth running of the morning.

We hope you have a lovely weekend!
