Cooper

Dear Cooper Families and Friends,

This week we have continued with our Morning Yoga techniques to get our bodies warmed up and ready for the day ahead. After we have warmed up we play some games. The children have really enjoyed playing “Jump, Jump Josie”.

In the big yard there were some interested spectators with the gardeners putting in a new vegetable patch. They had the tractor with a Front End Loader digging the ground level. Then they used the tractor to fill the raised beds with new soil.

With the weather a bit showery to go to the tennis courts on Tuesday for the bubble chasing we had fun chasing bubbles in the big yard instead. There was lots of fun screaming and chasing the bubbles around. Some children had worked out the wind was blowing the bubbles in a certain direction so they waited for the bubbles to come to them. That’s smart!

The school adventure was enjoyed by all, discovering new places to play in. The Secret Garden was a favourite place to explore - we found a “huge tree” and places to hide. We ended up on the top oval trying out our long jumping skills and then to the big playground to test our climbing skills. The spider web is a popular piece of equipment to see how high you could climb.

It is always fun to cook the sausage sizzle for the children (and the staff) during the holidays and Friday was no exception. The children loved to see and smell the barbeque cooking and were asking “is ready yet” on a regular basis. We set up a picnic on the grass in the shade and enjoyed our sausages and bread.

We hope you all have a great weekend and we will see you next week for Term 4.

Thanks, Mr Ty and Miss Karla, Miss Jana and Miss Jackie
