Angwin

Dear Parents and Friends,

We have had a fun packed week to our Spring holiday program. We were really busy in our classroom through the whole week as there were a few interesting activities going on.

Some of our friends found spiders in our camping corner last week and were eager to learn what kinds of spiders are poisonous and what kinds of spiders are actually our friends, so we set up a table to do our research and make our own spiders using pine corns and pipe cleaners.

We also made some play-dough with our children since we have not been playing with it for a while. Some of our children showed great interest in making big numbers with Play-dough while some of them made an alphabet together. On Thursday, we mixed our plain play-dough with different coloured play-dough and children have been enjoying exploring the rainbow play-dough.

We were also very happy to see children taking good care of our plants and most of our bean seeds have sprouted this week.

On Thursday, Mr. Ascott visited us and played several games with roles with us in the Red Centre. The children enjoyed doing physical activities with Mr. Ascott so much and we made a thank you card together for him. We all feel really grateful that Mr. Ascott has visited us every holiday and brought us so much fun in the past two years.

Kind regards,
Miss Wenting and Miss Bowden
