Wilkins

Dear Wilkins friends and families,

This week we started off by going on an adventure! At PAC junior and upper school we have some stunning cherry blossoms scattered around the grounds. Mrs Jess wanted to share these beautiful blossoms with the children and then extend on this by making our very own blossom tree in our classroom. The children did a fantastic job at replicating what they had seen and have been busily adding to our blossom tree throughout the week.

On Wednesday and Thursday the children were very interested in doing some art and craft. Because this is our last week with our Hermit Crabs we decided to create our own shells on some paper plates. The children helped Miss Kim in the art room to collect what they thought would be appropriate in decorating their shells. They choose items of all different shapes in all the colours of the rainbow and got busy gluing and pasting. We have enjoyed sharing this learning journey with them and look forward to seeing where their next interests lie.

On Thursday next week we look forward to participating in Sports Day. The children will enjoy their morning tea in the courtyard by the prep school and watch the excitement of the activities.

We hope you all have a fantastic weekend and look forward to seeing you all next week.
