Langley

Hi Langley families and friends,

This week the Langley children have spent time together with Miss Georgia, forming relationships and getting to know each other a little better. Miss Georgia is very attentive to our class frogs, and the children have helped her change the rocks in their tank and feed the frogs everyday!

Also this week we have been exploring zoo animals. Leopold, Sebastian and Teddy were able to match animals to pictures and also had fun finding them on the zoo map. We have created a cozy book nook in our outdoor yard which has been very popular. Children have loved venturing into this space to read stories and enjoy some quieter time.

On Friday we went and visited some special guest in the ELC - the Cooper room chicks! We didn't find any eggs though, they were all broken! We talked about what we could see and how we thought the chicks managed to get out of the eggs.
Leopold - "It's broken" (the egg)
Alannah  - "The chicken came out the egg"
Phoebe - "Where's Mummy chicken gone?"
William D - "He's got a orange beak and orange feet"

Enjoy the weekend
