Hi Cooper families,
Sparked by our special ambulance visit last week, we started to talk about
emergencies, hospitals and healthcare professionals. From these conversations,
we decided to make a hospital in the Cooper room. We have had broken arms, sore
tummies and colds in the classroom this week, luckily we had a large team of
kind and caring doctors to take care of the patients in the Cooper hospital.
Through this socio-dramatic experience, the children demonstrated their empathy
and respect for their peers through their play.
We have been very busy getting ready for Christmas
celebrations in the classroom too. We have been religiously practicing our
songs for our Nativity performance. We are becoming more familiar with the
words and are becoming more confident each day that we practice. On Friday, we
put up our Cooper Christmas tree which we will be decorating with personalised
baubles that the children have created.
Nativity
Performance is on the 30th of November at 9:30am ANZAC Hall. If you
are attending, please drop your child in the Cooper room by 8:45am. Make sure
that you have RSVP’d!
We hope that you have a fabulous weekend.
Love Miss Gilbert and Miss C
