Dear Mattingley
families and friends,
We would like to
thank all our Mummies, Daddies and special people that were able to come
to our Dancify concert Tuesday morning. The children have really enjoyed
these lessons over the last five weeks, and were very excited to share what
they had learnt, especially when our special people joined in. It was lovely to
see that so many of you had bough their dancing shoes with them. We would
like to also say a big thank you to Miss Erin from Dancify for teaching us her
wonderful dances. She was very energetic, patient and funny as she taught each
dance and helped us to share them with our special people.

We must be taking
very good care of our classroom caterpillars as they very quickly became
two very fat caterpillars. Over the long weekend one had made its
chrysalis. On Thursday morning the children noticed that the second
caterpillar was looking like it was getting ready. By the time we got
back from PE it had also made it's chrysalis. We are all very excited to see
the butterflies as they emerge over the next few weeks. For some the excitement
is to much and it seems like a long time away. From our research we know that
the caterpillars will stay in their chrysalis' for up to 10 days while they are
going thorough metamorphosis. We can't wait to see the beautiful butterflies
when they are ready.
It's now
a chrysalis. Then a butterfly comes out. There is another caterpillar too.
