The Centre will be celebrating Harmony Day on Wednesday 22nd March.
‘Harmony Day is a celebration of our cultural diversity – a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home.’ (website 2017)
Harmony Day has been a tradition at PAC for many years. It is a day where everyone is welcome to wear the colour orange in any form to celebrate.
Orange is the colour traditionally worn as it signifies ‘social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.’ (website 2017)

So, in short please encourage your child to wear something orange on Wednesday the 22nd of March. Even if it is just orange socks or an orange bow in their hair. It will be great if everyone is involved!
