Dear Wilkins friends and families,
We have had a wonderful time celebrating Book Week this week! On
Wednesday we viewed a drama production done by our very own teachers,
Mel Bishop, Melissa Prest, Coney Rocca, Martin Charlwood and Melanie
Garland. They did a very interactive performance for us,
with their own creative version of the Three Billy Goats Gruff.
The children thought it was very funny, as did the teachers, while we watched
the performers try on costumes and entertain us with funny accents.
On Thursday we were involved in our very first
reading Reading Flash Mob. This involved the Early
Learning Centre and Junior School combining on the oval and reading stories on
picnic rugs. It was a beautiful day to get outside and read a book, the
children choose The Very Brave Bear which is one of our favorites!
Next week we celebrate Fathers Day with our Big Boys Breakfast
which is on Thursday 1st of September. Thank you to those of you who have
returned your RSVP's and provided some gorgeous photos. The children are
looking forward to sharing this day with you all and have been busily making
some special gifts. If you have any questions regarding the day please feel
