Dear Parents,
We are seeking your help on a couple of matters:
Learning spaces.
Our educators spend so much of their time making our learning spaces inside and outside, inviting and exciting for the children. When you come in to collect your child you are more than welcome to spend time with them interacting in the Workshop or their classrooms, however when you are ready to leave can you please assist us by tidying the learning spaces with your child and leaving them set up as the educator has left them.

We spend lots of time every day, involving your children in
respecting our environments and teaching them about packing up. We ask that you
show them good role modelling as we do.
Looking for items
One of our key outcomes for the children across all ages at the ELC is to develop their independence and take responsibility for themselves, their actions and their belongings. We have bottles holders for our drink bottles, baskets for our hats and jumpers and lockers for our bags. The children are asked to put their items in these spaces when not in use.
We understand that sometimes the items do not make it to their correct location but we ask that you work with your child to try and find the items together. Staff are able to help to a certain point, however later in the evening for example they are unable to leave the group of the children they are working with to try and find lost things and it is not be expected that they stay past 6pm to search for lost items.
If you are unable to find something the late staff will leave a message for the morning staff. Generally all named items make their way back to the rightful owner.
Thank you for helping us with this.
