Hello Mead families and friends,
We cannot believe that Term 1 has
already come to an end, the year is flashing before our eyes!
It has been a fantastic week, continuing to build
and strengthen bonds between peers and educators.
On Tuesday and Thursday we had Chinese, it is
great to see the children utilizing their memory skills as they
resisted the colours in Chinese as well as immediate family members.
On Wednesday, we ventured to the Workshop. The Mead children really enjoyed this
opportunity to explore and participate in an array of fine and gross motor
experiences.
The
hairdresser salon, car road mat and coloured foam shapes were a big hit, we
will look into incorporating some of these interests within our room over the
next coming weeks.
Thursday,
Mrs Prest and the children used their balance and movement co-ordination skills
as they placed bean bags on their heads, shoulders and arms and walked around
the room listening to music.
Friday
was very exciting as we had P.E in the gym and watched the gardeners do some
digging and move our cubby house in our outside yard. We also watched a movie
in the Mead room! So much fun!!!
Next
week to extend on the life cycle of the Monarchy Butterfly we will be planting
our own sunflower seeds.
We
hope you have a lovely weekend.
Mrs
Prest, Miss Elodie and Mrs Nacca
