Grandies Day was a great success and it was lovely to see
the children showing the Grandies around. The pictures tell a wonderful story
of the children demonstrating how they spend their day.
We have been working on our counting skills. We have been
practising our one to one number recognition, making sure our fingers “press
the buttons and don’t bounce around.” We also went for a number hunt around the
grounds. We are encouraging the children to look for numbers in their
environment and find our missing numbers!
We have also been working on our independence skills and
looking after our things as the change in weather has meant a lot of jumpers,
hats and socks suddenly being taken off and going missing. Hopefully items will
begin to find their ways to the lockers and basket.
William did a great job of singing the Crows song and it
gave us a great opportunity to talk about what it means to belong and not
belong.
We are beginning to get family pictures from Show and Tell
for our display, as we continue to look at how all families are different.
It was great to meet so many of you at our Parent Teacher
Interview. Thank you for your time as we know it can be a juggle to fit them
in.
