Wilkins

Dear Wilkins Families and Friends,
What another wonderful week we have had in the Wilkins room. We have been able to get out and enjoy some sunshine!
This week we have been enjoying our drawing table being back in the class. Our Wilkins friends have been drawing photos of their mummies and even trying to write their names!
Patrick – “My mummy and Patrick!”
Alexander – “Mum Mum Mum!”
To extend on our Unit of Enquiry we have continued to follow on with pulling our machines apart and talking about how they work. On Thursday Miss Amy and Miss Ellen helped the Wilkins children pull apart a old VCR player that Mrs Nicole brought in. We used screwdrivers and flat heads to explore what the machine had inside.
Yifan – “Go roun roun!”
Haris – “Roun roun roun!”
Narayan – “Screw driver. Taking out the screws, I need to make it tighter.”
We have been very into our animals the past week. Our Wilkins friends have been exploring in the bushes outside and in the classroom. Mrs Karla has been showing us videos of Australian animals in the zoo to extend our interests.
Thank you for another wonderful week Wilkins friends. Have a safe weekend, enjoy the sun and we look forward to seeing you all next week!

Love Mrs Karla, Mrs Nicole and Miss Ellen xxxx
