Edgerley

Dear Edgerley Families and Friends,
The children have been enjoying our Wednesday library visits. A special book nook has been set up in the library to create a cosy place and showcase the books that have been nominated for the Children’s Book Council of Australia awards.
Mr Coleman the Librarian has been reading us a variety of books that have been nominated for this year’s award. Please remember a library bag for these visits as the children do enjoy borrowing books and cannot if they do not have a bag.
Advanced Notice - We will be celebrating book week in week 6, 24th until the 28th of August. The children will be attending two performances that week, ‘Everything Emu!’ on the Monday morning and ‘Shine a Light’ on the Wednesday morning.

There will be a book week parade on the Tuesday at 9:30am in the town square, where the children are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character. All children are welcome to take part in this parade, however, they must be accompanied by a parent if it is not their regular day.
Kind Regards,

Emma, Emma and Ty
