Angwin

Angwin Families

Another jam packed week this week.

We were so lucky to have Aiden’s Dad visit us and play his guitar, it was such a hit! Some of his tunes were even recognised! “My Dad plays that!!” exclaimed Joe M.

We also were treated to a wonderful puppet show by Samuel, Caitlyn and Lucille who had created their characters, organised the seats in their theatre and created tickets for the audience. It was so popular that Edgerley students are keen for an invite!

We wondered about why spring blossom has begun to bloom when it is still cold.

“The blossom is saying ‘Hello spring’ or ‘Good morning spring’” said Samuel
“It’s saying ‘it’s spring’” said Allegra

“But it’s not spring! It’s still winter” said Allegra

“Yes, it’s still cold” said Arwyn

“Because it’s still winter and after will come spring” explained Samuel

“But some flowers do grow in the winter” said Arwyn

“Yes, like dandelions” said Samuel

“After its cold it will come in spring” said Valentina

Could spring be on it’s way? Let’s hope so.

It’s also worth mentioning that we loooooved our Wednesday spaghetti and have even created a slurping video!

We are on the lookout for collections of natural materials (seed pod, shells, bark etc…) and any parent who would like to cover some books for us.

Have a wonderful weekend

Love the Angwin team
