Wilkins

Dear Wilkins Families

This week in the Wilkins room we have enjoyed practicing our fine motor skills with the scissors.
We then used the bits of paper we cut up to stick onto paper that we had hung on the easel.

We have also had lots of fun playing in our new cubby house. The new cubby has been put over in our jungle! The children have loved hiding in there and parking the trucks and cars in there.

This term our Unit of Inquiry is Marvellous Machines. Miss Nicole was lucky enough to find an old dvd player/ vcr that we have all enjoyed pulling apart. We all had a turn using a screwdriver to undo the screws before removing the cover to see what was inside.

Patrick- We open the buttons
James- I can't get it
Paige- I'll just help
Samuel H- I can't get it out

We will continue working on this experience over the coming weeks. If you have any old machines at home you're no longer using we would love to pull them apart in the Wilkins room.

The Wilkins children and staff are very excited to welcome back Miss Karla!!! but we would like to say a big thanks to Mrs Nacca for all her help!

Enjoy your weekend

Nicole, Ellen and Karla
